Received 3 school uniform containers sponsored by GNI/Korea.

On January 28, the Red Cross of Phu Tho province received 3 school uniforms containers and sportswear sponsored by Good Neighbors International (GNI)/Korea, worth over 2 million USD (equivalent to 48.7 billion VND).

With the attention and support of the People's Aid Coordinating Committee (PACCOM), over the past time, the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Union of Friendship Organizations of Phu Tho province have connected and mobilized Korean NGOs. The country has increased aid programs, projects, and non-project aid in the fields of health and education to disadvantaged areas in the province.

Following the success of the sponsorship program of 2 container trucks equivalent to over 100,000 bottles of hand sanitizer to support the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic (in November 2021), GNI continues to transport IVY Club/Korea sponsored 3 containers of clothes for poor students in disadvantaged areas of Phu Tho province. Based on reports from localities, the Vietnam Red Cross Society of Phu Tho province will allocate school uniforms to schools throughout the province.

Receiving uniforms from this program will help students in the province have more school uniforms to change during the week, contributing to reducing shopping costs for parents. Before that, in 2009, GNI also sponsored 15,000 sets of uniforms for poor students at junior high schools and high schools in Tan Son district. These programs have practical significance for the charity and humanitarian work of the province in general, and the education sector in particular. Contribute to further tightening the friendship and cooperation relationship between Phu Tho province and Korean partners.
