The event was organized with the attendance of National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Minister of Transport and President of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association Dinh La Thang, President of Japan’s House of Councilors Yamazaki Masaaki, Japanese Ambassador in Vietnam Hiroshi Fukada and the representatives of some provinces, local foreign affairs offices and foreign enterprises in Vietnam.
Being authorized of Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Dan Mac, Deputy Director of Phu Tho Department of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Viet Trung and officials of the Department presented flowers and sent congratulatory letter of Mr. Hoang Dan Mac to Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Fukada on the occasion.
Speaking at the ceremony, Japanese Ambassador in Vietnam Hiroshi Fukada reviewed the major milestones, marking the development of the relations between Vietnam and Japan from early 2015 to now. The firt event was the inauguration of Noi Bai International Airport’s T2 Terminal and Nhat Tan bridge as well as the connecting point between Noi Bai International Airport and Nhat Tan bridge. Continuously, many the activities of cultural exchanges (Vietnam-Japan Culinary Festival, Japanese film week in Vietnam...) were organized to help people of two countries understand each other and tighten the bonds of friendship solidarity. Besides, the Ambassador also thanked to Vietnam government and people who always have the warmth for Japanese people. In conclusion, he hoped that the friendly relations between the two countries will gain more achievements.
Responsing to the Ambassador, on behalf of the government of Vietnam, Minister of Transport and President of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association Dinh La Thang sent greetings, health wishes and the warmest congratulations to the King, the Queen, the Royal, the National Assembly, the Government and people of Japan. Mr. Thang also to expressed our sincere thanks to the National Assembly, the Government and people of Japan have always supported to Vietnam in the socio-economics development recently by maintaining a high level of ODA for Vietnam through the undertaking of more 300 billion yen (about 2.5 billion USD) of ODA loans in fiscal year 2015 for Vietnam.
On this occasion, supported by the Japan Business Association in Vietnam, the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam organized the booths "All Japan" to introduce the culinary culture, the products (electronics, functional food, cars ...) and the services of Japan as well as contribute to promoting the unique beauty of the land of cherry blossoms to Vietnamese and international friends. /.
