Mr. Tran Phu Tieu, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Phu Tho province, Chairman of Phu Tho province Union of Friendship Organizations with the attendance of leaders of Department of Foreign Affairs, People’s Committee of Viet Tri City, Radio and Television Station hosted a reception for Mr. Inoo Hirotoshi, Chairman of Nara Prefecture’s JVFA at the Phu Tho province Union of Friendship Organizations’s office.
On behalf of the leaders of Phu Tho province, Mr. Tran Phu Tieu expressed his pleasure when receiving Mr. Inoo Hirotoshi. He also informed an overview of provincial socio-economics development and the activities of Phu Tho province Union of Friendship Organizations. Besides, Chairman Tieu highly appreciated cooperation activities between two sides in the past time. He hoped that Japan - Vietnam Friendship Association of Nara Prefecture will become a bridge in promoting the exchanges, cooperation in various fields and contributing to deepen Phu Tho - Nara friendly cooperative relations as well as opening many prospects and opportunities in the future.
Mr. Hirotoshi Inoo sincerely thanked for the warm welcome of Phu Tho province Union of Friendship Organizations and the provincial departments. He expressed his pleasure in the first time he has visited Phu Tho province which is a original land of Vietnam. Chairman Hirotoshi Inoo also shared: “Phu Tho province and Nara Prefecture have many similarities linked to thousands of years of history of the establishment and development of both provinces. Besides, both sides are original lands, the worship places of the first King of each country. Furthermore, Phu Tho province has similarities with Nara Prefecture regarding natural, cultural, social conditions and population. Therefore, two sides have boosted together the development of bilateral cooperative relations in the fields of economy, investment, trade, education, culture and tourism to promote the potential and strengths of each local that promotes socio-economics development. Moreover, Phu Tho province and Nara Prefecture have annual visits to strengthen the twinned relations between the two provinces”. He believed that Vietnam's economy in general and Phu Tho province’s economy in particular will continuously develop and gain further achievements. After the meeting, as the Chairman of Japan - Vietnam Friendship Association of Nara Prefecture, he hoped the association will implement more meaningful exchanges and cooperation activities in Phu Tho province such as: Teaching Japanese to children, introducing the culture of Nara Prefecture to Phu Tho provice’s people.
On this occasion, Mr. Tran Phu Tieu presented the reproduction of copper drum which is symbol of Hung Vuong era’s history anf culture to Mr. Inoo Hirotoshi.
Before the meeting, the delegation led by Chairman of Nara Prefecture’s JVFA Inoo Hirotoshi offered incense at the Hung Kings Temple Historical Relic Site.
