Green Pearl island tourist area is an attractive destination in Thanh Thuy district

In order to promote tourism development, Thanh Thuy has strengthened in the investment of tourism infrastructure. Since 2015 by far, the total investment capital in the area has reached over VND7.000 billion, facilitating toursit projects and programs, transport infrastructure and meeting the tourists’ demands.

In 5 years, revenue from tourism and hospitality industry... in Thanh Thuy has been estimated at VND 720.7 billion (an average increase of over 10%/year) accounting for 10.4% of total retail sales, attracting over 2.2 million visitors (including about 317 thousand  turns of staying guests), creating stable jobs for about 16,500 employees in the trade - service - tourism industry. In particular, Thanh Thuy hot spring water resort met all the criteria for recognition as a provincial tourist area.

Implementing the Resolution of the XXVI District Party Congress for the term of 2020-2025, Thanh Thuy continues to identify tourism as a breakthrough, focusing on resort tourism; ecotourism, entertainment; cultural-religious tourism with an aim to turn tourism into a spearhead economic sector of the district.

Concretizing the breakthrough, the thematic resolution on promoting Thanh Thuy tourism development in the period of 2020-2025, with an orientation to 2030 pointed out: By 2025, the total number of tourists would reach 1,550,000 arrivals/year, revenue from tourism services of VND 1,100 billion, creating jobs for 18,000 employees (both direct and indirect). Vision to 2030, Thanh Thuy would become a tourist district, tourism center of Phu Tho province with 2,500,000 turns of visitors/year, revenue from tourism services of VND1,780 billion and 29,500 new employees.
