The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has committed to collaborate with the Phu Tho People"s Committee in preparing four major cultural events in Phu Tho to commemorate the death anniversary of Hung King in 2023.

The first UNESCO-registered UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Performance Festival of Vietnam - 2023; the 20th anniversary of the implementation of the 2003 UNESCO Convention on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage; the International Conference “Forum of Tourism, Culture, Heritage, and Sustainable Development”; and the Hung Kings Anniversary - Hung Temple Festival in 2023 are among the events planned.
As a result, the UNESCO-listed Festival of Practice and Performance of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Vietnam is the series“main activity. The 20th anniversary of Vietnam”s participation in the 2003 UNESCO Convention on the Preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage focuses on reaffirming the country"s position in the international arena while also recognizing and promoting the worth of heritage. The scientific forum is being held to delve further into historic concerns, promote heritage and culture, and aid in the growth of tourism.

The symposium is planned to bring together a large number of foreign scientists, managers, and businesspeople interested in exploring investment prospects in the sector of culture and tourism in Phu Tho. The Hung Kings Anniversary - The Hung Temple Festival in 2023 will be solemnly organized, in line with the Hung King worshiping rites documented by UNESCO; Hung Vuong Square, Hung Temple relic is the site where the major events of the festival take place.
