On August 21, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee“s Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People”s Committee - checked the progress of site clearance, investment in technical infrastructure construction, and implementation of secondary investment projects at Trung Ha Industrial Park (IP).
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People“s Committee, inspected Trung Ha IP”s actual investment in technological infrastructure building.
The Trung Ha IP investment, building, and exploitation project has been approved by the Provincial People's Committee since 2005, with a scale of up to 200ha in Dan Quyen commune (Tam Nong district) and Xuan Loc commune (Thanh Thuy district). So far, 113.33ha has been recovered and the purpose of land use has been altered; building of a number of major items such as highways, central drainage ditch systems, 35kv power supply line systems, and so on, is presently underway to compensate for land clearing of 43ha and execute component projects. However, the works are behind schedule because to frequent rain, making embankment work difficult; the budgeted capital is insufficient to finish the task. The site clearing is still ongoing in 43ha, although it has been largely accomplished in Tam Nong district. There are ongoing issues with five families in Thanh Thuy district. Thanh Thuy District People's Committee is gathering input from various authorities in order to reach an agreement on the mechanism of compensation and land recovery.

In terms of secondary project implementation, in addition to the Saigon Beer Factory project and the filled area in phase 1, six investors have advanced the site clearance and implemented ground leveling and construction workshop, equipment installation since 2021, including: Project of an artificial stone factory - New-Stone Technology JSC; Project of a factory producing synthetic resins PVC Comoud - Green PVC Additives JSC; Project of a factory producing granite and glazed tiles - VNHOME Group JSC; Project of a factory producing lemon acid - BIOTECH Thien Phu JSC; Project of a factory producing auxiliary products for the brick, tile, stone, and high-class building materials industry - Phu Tho New Material.

After inspecting the real site, Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Hai said that Trung Ha IP will contribute positively to the socioeconomic development of the province as well as the two districts of Tam Nong and Thanh Thuy. However, because to tight funding, investment in technical infrastructure in the IP is restricted, many critical work items remain unfinished, and execution of several secondary projects remains tardy. All levels and sectors must focus on removing barriers to accelerating investment in technical infrastructure, attracting investment in industrial zones, particularly in handing over premises to secondary investors, and compensating for clearing the remainder of Trung Ha IP about 4.5ha to build a wastewater treatment station and green tree system. The Department of Planning and Investment works with other departments and bureaus to advise the Provincial People“s Committee on whether to invest in the IP”s centralized wastewater treatment system. The Provincial IPs Management Board completes the feasibility study report to adjust the Trung Ha I IP project according to the adjusted construction subdivision planning and has actually implemented and allocated land to the third enterprise level, on that basis, coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to advise, propose, and complete investment procedures for the Trung Ha II IP project. Thanh Thuy District People“s Committee and Tam Nong District People”s Committee collaborate with relevant departments and branches to focus on removing obstacles, encouraging and creating conditions for investors to accelerate construction progress, and bring projects to market as soon as possible.
