Vinh Phu Bridge over the Lo River connecting the two provinces of Vinh Phuc - Phu Tho is expected to be inaugurated on August 26 to welcome the National Independence Day September 2.

Commenced from December 2, 2021, Vinh Phu bridge construction is determined to be a key project on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the re-establishment of Vinh Phuc and Phu Tho provinces.
This is a project of group B, with the bridgehead on the Viet Tri side connecting with Tran Phu street, intersecting with the right dyke of the Lo river and ending at the intersection with the left dyke of the Lo river, in Duc Bac commune, Song Lo district. The project is implemented in the 2020-2023 period, with a total investment amount of over VND 540 billion, more than 509m long, of which the main bridge is about 290m long, the approach roadway in Phu Tho province is 70.75m long, and the approach roadway in Vinh Phuc province is about 148.8m long. The bridge is designed to ensure 4 lanes for motored vehicles, with the width of the main bridge being 19m, and the width of the approach roadway being 16.5m.
The bridge has an important meaning to the socio-economic development of the two provinces as it enables traffic connection and promotes trade for the two localities. Therefore, the bridge construction process always receives timely encouragement from all levels, sectors and the investor, especially the management authorities of the two provinces.
