The Provincial People"s Council, term XIX, holds the second theme meeting

The second theme meeting of the 19th Provincial People"s Council, term 2021-2026, was convened on April 6th, to deliberate on a variety of critical subjects.

Mr. Bui Minh Chau, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People"s Council, delivered the opening speech.

Mr. Bui Van Quang, Deputy Secretary of the Province Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People"s Committee, as well as Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, were present at the meeting.

Mr. Trinh The Truyen, Director of the province Department of Planning and Investment, presented the Phu Tho Provincial Plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision until 2050.

Particularly for the provincial planning period 2021- 2030, with a vision to 2050, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee provided comments on adjustments and supplements at previous meetings, which the advisory agencies have taken seriously and edited to submit at this meeting.

Delegates to the Provincial People“s Council must maintain a sense of duty, promote democracy, focus their intellect, spend time studying, and provide excellent thoughts on topical items authorized at this meeting, especially These are contentious topics, and the adoption of Provincial People”s Council decisions must assure quality, practicality, regulatory compliance, and meeting the goals and duties of socioeconomic growth in the next years.

The Provincial People“s Council listened to a brief presentation of the Proposals on Phu Tho Province Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People”s Council Nguyen Thi Hong Lam. Regulations on a variety of content and levels of non-business funding from the State budget for the implementation of the National Target Program on building new rural areas in Phu Tho province in the 2021-2025 period; The scheme to ensure material facilities for the regular implementation of the National Target Program on building new rural areas in Phu Tho province in the 2021-2025 period; the project to provide material support for the police force of communes in Phu Tho province.

Mr. Dinh Cong Thuc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee“s Standing Board and Chairman of the Provincial People”s Council“s Economic and Budgetary Committee - presented the inspection report of the Provincial People”s Council"s Economic and Budgetary Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial People“s Council”s Legal Department, presented the inspection report of the Provincial People“s Council”s Legal Department.

Mr. Duong Hoang Huong, the Province People“s Council”s Standing Deputy Chairman, mediated the conversation.

Following the presentation of the inspection reports of the Provincial People“s Council Committees on the above three issues by the Chairman of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People”s Council Dinh Cong Thuc and the Head of the Legal Department of the Provincial People“s Council Nguyen Trung Kien, the Provincial People”s Council discussed under the management of Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People"s Council Duong Hoang Huong. At the meeting, the delegates indicated strong support for the Reports as well as the verification reports, and they made several intelligent, passionate, and constructive remarks.

The Provincial People“s Council also passed a Resolution dismissing Mr. Nguyen Thuy Trong, former Director of the Department of Science and Technology, from the position of Member of the Provincial People”s Committee, term 2021 - 2026, due to a job transfer; and elected additional members of the Provincial People"s Committee, term 2021 - 2026, for Nguyen Duy Anh, Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and Tran Viet Hung - Provincial Chief Inspector.

The Provincial People“s Council debated, examined, and passed nine Resolutions with high consensus, providing as a legal framework for the Provincial People”s Committee and related agencies to accomplish the mission in the near future.

At the meeting“s conclusion, Provincial Party Committee Secretary and Provincial People”s Council Chairman Bui Minh Chau proposed that the Provincial People“s Committee coordinate the execution of resolutions as soon as possible to guarantee order and processes in compliance with existing legislation. It has been recognized that this is a significant, strategic, and long-term oriented material for the province”s development in the Provincial Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a view to 2050. The planning study evaluated strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, difficulties, visions, development objectives, and particularly recommended highly realistic implementation options, in accordance with regional and national development trends. Immediately following this meeting, the Provincial People“s Committee was tasked with directing, continuing to review, adjust, supplement, and receive comments in order to complete the dossier and submit it to the Prime Minister for approval; On the basis of the approved provincial master plan, the Provincial People”s Committee concretizes, develops plans and programs, implements specific plans, focuses on directing, and ensuring timely and effective implementation of the Resolutions approved. It is proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People“s Council, the Provincial People”s Council Committees, the delegations and delegates of the Provincial People"s Council be in charge of coordinating with relevant agencies in order to effectively supervise the approved resolutions at this meeting to voters and people in the province.
