Supervising implementation of some contents by agencies, units and localities after arrangement and merger
On April 14, the supervisory delegation of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People“s Council, led by Mr. Bui Minh Chau - Member of the Central Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People”s Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province worked with the Provincial People"s Committee on apparatus organization and management, use and management of land and attached properties by agencies, units and localities after arrangement and merger.

After listening to the opinions of the localities on arrangement and merger, speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People"s Committee Bui Van Quang affirmed: In the coming time, the province will continue to rearrange and reorganize the public agencies and non-business units on the principle that a public non-business unit can provide many public administrative services of the same type in order to drastically reduce focal points, resolve overlapping, spreading and duplication of functions and missions. At the same time, arrange civil servants and public employees at job positions suitable with their capacities and qualifications; determine the number of redundant civil servants to settle downsizing the staff. In the 2023-2025 period, he suggested that the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels should take into consideration specific and historical factors to have appropriate steps and roadmaps.

Speaking at the conclusion of the supervisory session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Minh Chau acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and consensus of the whole political system to have creative ways to quickly complete the arrangement and merging of agencies, units and localities in the 2019-2021 period in accordance with the regulations and legal order. The arrangement of commune-level administrative units was implemented in a timely, methodical and correct manner; helping to reduce focal points, streamline the apparatus, fundamentally overcome the situation of fragmented, widespread and overlapped management in the current commune-level administrative units, contributing to improving the operational efficiency of the political system at the grassroots level.
