The festival attracted 33 booths displaying STEM educational products from 13 Departments of Education and Training, 18 high schools and two universities (Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education). These are products created by students using the knowledge they have learned in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and the Arts. The products on display are diverse, rich and of good quality, vividly reflecting the process of implementing STEM education in educational institutions.
The highlight of the festival was the Robotics creation contest with the theme "Travelling in the Fatherland - incense offering at Hung Kings’ Temple" which took place enthusiastically with the competition of 32 teams from the Departments of Education and Training and high schools in the province. The teams are divided into 2 groups, in which Group A is for secondary school teams and Group B is for high school teams. The contest integrates programming, robot control and knowledge of culture, history, tradition... to promote introduction of Phu Tho culture, history and tourism. Besides, it also stimulates initiative and creativity among students.
At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize of the Robotics creation contest in group A to the team from Lam Thao Department of Education and Training 1, the second prize to the team from Lam Thao Department of Education and Training 2, the third prizes to the team from Yen Lap Department of Education and Training, and Viet Tri Department of Education and Training 2. The first prize in Group B was granted to Long Chau Sa High School team, the second prize to Viet Tri Technical High School team, and the third prizes to Viet Tri High School and Vinh Chan High School.
