On September 29, a working delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by Mr. Bui Thanh Son - Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Party’s Staff Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs came to work in the province.
Opening the working session, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son congratulated the results achieved by the Phu Tho Department of Foreign Affairs during the 10 years of its establishment. He emphasized the viewpoints of our Party’s foreign relation policy determined at the 13th Congress; information on the results of visits and working sessions of our Party and State leaders in friendly countries as well as important contents of working sessions of heads of other states in Vietnam...
Next, Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Quang proposed: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to help the province promote the province’s potential, advantages, and preferential policies with foreign partners; particularly connects and invites large and reputable businesses to research and invest in Phu Tho province in the fields of: Infrastructure business of industrial parks and industrial complexes; processing, manufacturing, electronics, information technology, pharmaceutical industry; agricultural production with application of high technology to key products, with priority given to attracting investment in the project of building a logistics center in the province.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son affirmed: Based on the province’s recommendations, the Ministry will continue to support and create all conditions for the province to promote diplomacy and international integration in all fields. Regarding coordination contents, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will periodically provide information to the province on a monthly basis, in which the coordination content focuses on enhancing the exchange of general economic information of the world, diplomatic issues; exchange of information through basic local documents; investment promotion in trade and culture; diversifying partners, and expanding the province’s development space. Support connection and organization of conferences and forums to introduce Phu Tho province to foreign businesses and associations.
Thanking for the attention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Phu Tho province, Provincial Party Secretary Bui Minh Chau affirmed: The suggestions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will make an important contribution for Phu Tho to continue to carry out foreign affairs, investment promotion and international integration in a comprehensive and effective way.
On the same day at the Hung Kings’ Temple Historical Relic Site, the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Phu Tho Department of Foreign Affairs respectfully offered incense and flowers to pay tribute to the merits of the Hung Kings, expressing their deep gratitude to their predecessors who had the merits of building the country so that the descendants could continue the Lac Hong tradition of building a rich, beautiful, and civilized Vietnam.
