In the year of Cat 2023, there will be a tree planting celebration with the theme “Forever thankful to Uncle Ho.”
On the morning of January 27 (January 6th), Phu Tho province will commence the “Forever thankful to Uncle Ho” tree planting celebration in the year of Cat 2023 at the Hung King Temple unique national historical relic site.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Bui Minh Chau, Member of the Party“s Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People”s Council.

The launching event was attended by delegates.
Secretary Bui Minh Chau encouraged all kinds of society to engage in tree planting and afforestation at the event. Everyone planted trees, everyone planted trees, everyone planted trees. All levels, branches, local government committees, and all classes of people must raise their awareness and take specific measures to protect forests, including preventing timely cutting, burning, and illegal exploitation of forest permission, as well as developing and protecting watershed protection forests and special-use forests.
The provincial authorities and residents then planted trees at Phu Bung hill and Hung King Temple.



Phu Tho has long been concerned with conserving the environment and protecting ecosystems; to increase afforestation, planting of trees and shade trees to create landscapes. In 2023, Phu Tho allocated communities the task of planting 9 thousand ha of concentrated forest and 2 million dispersed trees, as well as caring for over 29,000 ha of planted forests and protecting over 37,000 ha of forest.
