Celebrating 75 years of the People“s Public Security Forces studying and applying Uncle Ho”s six lessons
The Provincial Police staged a celebration on March 10 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the People“s Public Security of learning and executing the six things Uncle Ho taught, as well as the 75th anniversary of the traditional day of establishing the People”s Police force (March 11, 1948 – 2023).
Under the authority of the President of the Republic, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Bui Minh Chau bestowed the Third Class Victory Medal on the Criminal Police Department collective for outstanding feats in combat and combat service, contributing to the country"s economic development, the construction of the Socialist Republic, and the Defense of the Fatherland.
Over the past 75 years, the movement to study and implement the Six Things Uncle Ho Taught the People“s Police has become a driving force, cheering and encouraging the spirit of soldiers, under the direct and comprehensive leadership of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People”s Committee; the support, care, and assistance of people in the area. The provincial police are excited and enthusiastically emulating to successfully complete the assigned political tasks; established many outstanding achievements and feats, contributing to brightening up the golden history pages of the People“s Police force, constantly striving to rise up worthy of the Party Committee”s and the ethnic groups" belief in Phu Tho.

The Provincial Police Department was bestowed various noble titles by the Party and State in recognition of the achievements and results attained in 75 years of learning and executing the six things Uncle Ho taught. Particularly in 2020, the Party and State awarded Phu Tho Provincial Police with the title of Hero of the People“s Armed Forces. Earlier, the title”Hero of the People“s Armed Forces” was bestowed upon 5 collectives and 2 individuals. Since 2009, the provincial police force has had almost 4,000 collective turns, 10,000 individual turns recognized by leaders at all levels, and thousands of individuals and collectives recognized by the Director of Provincial Public Security with certificates of merit.

At the ceremony, Secretary Bui Minh Chau acknowledged, warmly praised, and congratulated officers and soldiers of the Provincial Public Security Force for their achievements and feats over the past 75 years of studying and implementing Uncle Ho“s six teachings; congratulations to the advanced examples in studying and implementing the Six Things Uncle Ho Taught the People”s Police.
Mr. Ho Dai Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People“s Committee, presented the Provincial People”s Committee“s Certificate of Merit to ten collectives and individuals for their typical achievements in the emulation movement to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the People”s Police studying and implementing the six things Uncle Ho taught and 75 years of tradition of building the People"s Police force.
Predicting the situation in terms of political security, social order, and safety remains difficult and unexpected, necessitating additional and more stringent criteria for the People“s Police force in general and the province Public Security force in particular. He urged that the provincial police force should focus on leading the Party”s building efforts, creating a really clean, robust, regular, elite, and contemporary People“s Police force under the spirit of Resolution 12 of the Poliburo. The Provincial Police force must study and implement the six things Uncle taught, which must always be associated with the implementation of Conclusion No. 21; Politburo Directive No. 05 on”Promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh“s thought, morality, and style” identifies this content as an integral part of the Party"s construction and rectification work.
The Provincial Public Security Board of Directors recognized 65 collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the People“s Police”s study and implementation of the Six Things Uncle Ho Taught and the 75th anniversary of the tradition system of building police force.
Provincial police must actively lead and direct to grasp, analyze, evaluate, and forecast the situation closely and correctly in order to advise and propose to the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People"s Committee the main policies and solutions to protect security governance, ensuring social order and safety; strengthen the protection of internal politics, State secrets, economic security, culture - ideology, information and communication; and proactively and stably set priorities.
Regularly communicate closely with the Party committees, local authorities together with the Army forces to promote the synergy of the whole political system, develop people“s security, the people”s security posture linked with all-people national defense and a solid “fight of the people”s hearts“. Each staff member must voluntarily train themselves in ethics, lifestyle, and saying no to negativity; resolutely fight, strictly discipline cadres with a sense of organization, poor discipline observance, morality, degraded lifestyle, degeneracy, metamorphosis, and manifestations of ideological degradation politics, ethics, lifestyle,”self-evolution“,”self-transformation“; well implement the police behavior culture with the style of”respecting the people, being cloaked";
