According to the report of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board (IZ), industrial parks in the province have attracted 7 new investment projects since the beginning of the year. There are two projects with foreign investment (FDI) and five projects with domestic investment (DDI), with a total fresh investment capital of USD23.9 million and VND558.4 billion. Simultaneously, the province revised 64 projects, including 23 DDI projects (increased capital of VND921.5 billion) and 43 FDI projects (increased investment capital of USD171.45 million), exceeding the intended objective for 2023.
Priority is given to projects with sophisticated technology, contemporary management, and high land use efficiency... for investment in the province’s industrial parks.
In addition to new grants and modifications, there are now 9 new projects in operation, with 5 businesses boosting output and capacity. Some of them, such as BYD Electronics Company Limited, Vietnam Future Innovation Company Limited, and Almus Vina Company Limited, have a huge scale and capability. Since then, the province’s industrial parks have seen a total of 176 investment projects, including 94 DDI projects and 82 FDI projects. Revenue is expected to be VND65,000 billion, up 25% over the same period last year and accounting for 108% of the year’s budget. Pay VND1,500 billion to the state budget; export turnover is expected at USD10,000 million; create 56,000 employment with an average monthly wage of VND7.1 million.
