The Vietnam-Korea online Cultural Exchange Program at Hung Vuong University
A productive and meaningful meeting on strengthening international cooperation, cultural exchange, and student exchange during the Vietnam- Korea online cultural exchange program hosted by Hung Vuong University, in collaboration with the Pacific Asia Society (PAS) and Mokpo National University of Science (South Korea) via zoom on January 5th 2022.
Participating in this ceremony, on behalf of the PAS delegation, there were Mr. Kim II Wooong, Chairman; Mr. Yoon In Man, General Manager; Professor Jang Mi Ra, Head of Department of Beauty, and students from Mokpo National University of Science. On the side of Hung Vuong University, there were Dr. Do Tung, Vice Rector; Dr. Pham Thai Thuy, Head of International Cooperation Department; Mr. Tran Thanh Vinh, Secretary of the Youth Union, and more than 60 students from several faculties.
In his opening speech, Dr. Do Tung welcomed and commended everyone for attending this memorable event, including members of the PAS, Mokpo National University of Science delegates, lecturers, and students. He stated emphatically that, inthe context of deep international integration, Hung Vuong University has collaborated with enormous international universities and organizations worldwide. The university has paid more attention to expansion strategy, strengthening international cooperation, focusing on cultural exchanges and student exchanges as priorities. Through these programs, students are expected to have opportunities to experience, learn, and integrate into the international environment. As a result, these activities help improve the quality of teaching and learning. He concluded his statement by thanking everyone and encouraging them to join hands and work together to make the initiative a success.
On the side of the PAS, Mr. Kim II Woong also expressed his gratitude to Hung Vuong University for hosting this ceremony. He hopes that all students from Hung Vuong University and Mokpo National University of Science could partake in these cultural exchange activities.
Following the ceremony, three groups of students from Hung Vuong University had their presentation of group members as well as the contents of Vietnamese culture in the exchange program.
The Vietnam-Korea online cultural exchange program will run from January 05th to January 26th, 2022. Based on exchanging and sharing cultural values, participants will have a deeper understanding of the culture as well as the people of Vietnam and South Korea, thereby strengthening the cooperation and friendship between two countries.
Hung Vuong University looks forward to continuing to welcome the PAS and Korean universities, and having more exchange programs in the future./.
