On June 7, Mr. Bui Van Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People"s Committee chaired a meeting of the Provincial People"s Committee to listen to reports from departments and agencies: Assessment of the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the first six months of the year, directions and tasks for the last six months of 2022; the implementation of the budget estimate in the first six months of the year, the direction for the last six months of 2022 and a number of other important contents.
According to the draft report on assessment of the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, in the first six months of 2022, the economic growth rate was estimated at 7.8%, an increase of 6.22% over the same period; the total social investment was estimated at VND 16,416 billion, an increase of 8.5% over the same period; the export value reached USD 5.8 billion, an increase of 79%, the import value was USD 5.3 billion, increased by 65% over the same period; the total State budget revenue in the locality was estimated at VND 4,592.3 billion, making up 81.3% of the whole year estimate; has attracted 41 more investment projects, of which, there are three FDI projects and six urban projects with the registered capital of VND 30,378 billion; the business and investment environment, the Provincial Governance and Public Administration Performance Index has made great progress, the PCI index increased two places, ranking the 20th out of 62 provinces and cities. Disbursement of the public investment capital received much attention and direction. As of May 31, 2022, the disbursed capital amount reached VND 2,054 billion, accounting for 51% of the plan.
Regarding the implementation of the budget estimate, in the first six months of 2022, the total state budget revenue in the area was estimated at VND 4,589 billion, reaching 81.2% of the estimate; the total state budget expenditure was estimated at VND 7,863 billion, equivalent to 61.7% of the estimate.
After listening to the draft reports and comments, Chairman of the Provincial People"s Committee Bui Van Quang gave specific comments on the contents, and requested: Department of Planning and Investment to absorb comments, take the initiative in coordinating with relevant departments and agencies to review, agree and supplement data to clarify the socio-economic development situation in the first six months of 2022. Regarding the tasks for the last six months of the year, it is necessary to focus and clarify the below contents: Continue to improve the business investment environment; mobilize maximum resources for development investment; highly focus on compensation and site clearance, create a clean land fund for implementation of projects, and clearly define the roles and responsibilities of all levels, branches and district heads in this work.
