Chairman of the PPC receives the Ambassador of India to Vietnam

On October 18th, the delegation led by Mr. Pranay Verma - Ambassador of India to Vietnam paid a working visit to Phu Tho province. Mr. Bui Van Quang - Deputy Secretary of Phu Tho Party Committee and Chairman of Phu Tho People's Committee welcomed and worked with the delegation.

At the meeting, Chairman Bui Van Quang congratulated Mr. Pranay Verma appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Vietnam and affirmed the close relationship between India and Vietnam in general, Phu Tho province in particular. He mentioned investment efficiency of some Indian projects in the province such as Phu Ben tea company limited, Binh Bo drainage pump station in Phu Ninh district, Jaipur Foot Project is free for people with disabilities and issues of mutual concern.
Chairman Bui Van Quang noted that Phu Tho province always created the best conditions for Indian businesses to invest in the province, but they needed to have an effective operation plan, creating benefits for investors and workers, contributing to the development of the province.

Ambassador Pranay Verma expressed his thanks for the solemn welcome of Phu Tho province and hoped to promote the cooperation between Phu Tho and India. In his position, the Ambassador would pay attention to help Phu Tho province develop socio-economic. He wished that Phu Tho would deploy more cooperation projects in the fields of culture, education, trade-investment, tourism, renewable energy to have the support of the Indian Government.

In the framework of the meeting, the Embassy of India and Phu Tho People's Committee signed a Memorandum of understanding on the of building classrooms at Hau Bong preschool in Hau Bong commune, Ha Hoa district.

Chairman Bui Van Quang presented Hung Vuong era bronze drums for Mr. Pranay Verma.
